Went to see the “new” The Lion King with the kids. It was largely a shot-for-shot remake, with a few tweaks (for the worse in most scenes IMO).

Some spectacular shots though, and the old songs are still great.

For this year’s Armies on Parade, I’m considering going full-theme ahead on the 90’s 40k aesthetic: grassy board, flocked trees… basically recreate the “action” shots from White Dwarf and rulebooks of the time

So I was doing some more research for my Sororitas project, and it turns out the reason I couldn’t remember how my Retributors were armed in 1997, was because Retributors weren’t a squad choice until 2003 😖 Memories are fallible, folks… 🤦‍♂️

Just built my first Van Saar ganger, and holy heck do I not want to continue with the rest now.

So. Many. Tiny. Pieces.

The modular guns are a cool idea, but add unnecessary “fiddliness” to the kit.

Helping my partner get started in the hobby with her Nighthaunt has got me itching to start something new for Age of Sigmar, but I’m at a loss as to what. No faction is really standing out; I like elements of most, but none enough to invest in 🤔

I’m on a bit of a roll this morning – logged three items in the #iPadOS Beta Feedback app in just the last hour and a half. A mixture of suggestion, unexpected behaviour, and annoyances.

Of course, if I could get it to update the beta build, these might’ve already been fixed, but here we are…

I’m having a heck of a time installing the latest #iPadOS beta on my device. It keeps failing, with no useful information as to why. Because Auto-Update is turned on, the iPad tried _63_ times during the night without success.

@adembskibowden I just wanted to check something for a project… did the “green-aged bronze” of The Pure replace the green torso/head of their old colours, or is it just the trim, and the rest is all white? Also, what colour weapon casings? Thanks!

I’m trying to setup a test instance of Known CMS, so I can give it a shot, but I’m having a hell of a time getting it to work properly. I suspect it’s because I’m using nginx instead of httpd.

I’m looking at the Chaos Space Marine Apocolypse detachment, and I’m thinking to myself "everybody’s doing the Emperor’s Spears from @adembskibowden’s Spear of the Emperor (including me)… maybe ‘someone’ should do The Pure?". For balance, obvs 🤔

If I can figure out how to transform the JSON output of the Micropub syndication query into a user-selectable list, I’ll have pretty much built the bones of a (very) basic Micropub client in iOS Shortcuts…

#IndieWeb building blocks are awesome, and Shortcuts is much more powerful than I realised!
