  1. @gebloom so I’ve read, but like you I’m hoping it improves over time. My use-case is almost entirely going to be text selection and manipulation, so I’m ok with it being less than optimal for interacting with other parts of the system in the meantime.

  2. @MrKapowski The optimistic view is the original Mac has no cursor keys, because Jobs wanted users to acclimate to the mouse.

    On the good side, the desktop-class browser works (bugs of course). I have book-length text in the browser LaTeX app, Overleaf, and in the browser Markdown app, Draft (not the Drafts.app), and both will be usable on the iPad.
