The worst bit about finishing a big miniature painting project is cleaning up my workspace afterwards.
The best bit might be having a clean workspace ready for the next project.
It was already pretty wet today, but I really want to go for a walk, to stretch my legs… it’s just that every time I start to think it might be ok to go out, the skies open up even more 😐🌧🌧
I had a nosebleed this morning. Not had one of those in a while.
Baking a full-size (keto) cheesecake, because the bite sized versions I made the other week turned out so well 🤤
Scream Queens is probably my favourite show at the moment, having only recently discovered it. It’s so bizarre, quirky, and dumb. I’ve genuinely laughed out loud more at this show than anything I can recall in recent memory.

Went for a lovely walk into Aberdeen today. We took a detour into Seaton Park, followed by the Cruickshank botanical gardens and Old Aberdeen. In all it was a 6.1KM walk, after which we treated ourselves to a toastie from Melt, followed by ice cream from Mackies, before walking 4.6KM home again. “Tired but content” best sums up how I’m feeling right now!
It’s strange to think that for years, and even at the start of this year, I didn’t like halloumi, but now I absolutely love it. Proof I guess that our tastes change and evolve over time.
I have to finish a large model painting project by this time next week. The unfortunate thing, is I’m about a week behind where I planned to be by now. I can still make it in time, but it’s going to be a crunch, and down to the wire…
