If I were to have one complaint about Necromunda, it would be how many (big) books we had to carry for reference. I needed the main rule book + the House Gangs book. My opponent needed those + another book for the Genestealer Cult rules. Some of the campaign rules were only in the Dark Uprising book, and other things were in The Book of Ruin. In theory, we also needed the latest FAQ/Errata on top too. It’s all a bit… much? (and HEAVY!)

So… modern Necromunda is pretty darn good, innit? Had loads of fun in my first game, played for start of a campaign. Lost to a Genestealer Cult, but it was very close until I had a bad run on the injury dice in my 3rd turn.

For the first time ever, I’ve had a low power warning on my Apple Watch. I mustn’t have put it on the charger properly last night… or maybe even the night before as well. Normally I can get 2-4 days from a charge, depending on how many workouts I track in a day.

The Shibboleth documentation is the most frustrating I’ve come across. As well as being dense and jargon-y, half of the links point to older versions, which tell you “THIS IS OUT OF DATE!!!” leaving you to wonder if you should keep reading… https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SP3/Home

🔖 Bookmarked: Instagram's decision to hide photoshopped images is a disservice to art by

“In a controversial turn of events, Instagram has begun hiding photoshopped images on its platform — even in the case of creative uses. San Francisco-based photographer Toby Harriman was scrolling through his Instagram feed when he suddenly spotted a post flagged for “False Information,” PetaPixel writes. It was a first for him, so he clicked through …”

#Warmongers – what’s your favourite "skirmish"-sized case? I’m in the market for something to transport 16 or so Primaris infantry sized models, that’s small and robust enough I can it chuck into my work rucksack alongside my laptop/chargers/etc.

Two more hours work on the Delaque. A couple of simple highlights, and the basic face/base details done. Assembly and finishing touches when I get home from work, then they get their first outing tomorrow! #Warmongers #PaintingWarhammer2020

I’ve setup a few shortcuts on iOS to help make this easier. They use the Micropub plugin on the backend to let me post photos, likes, bookmarks and replies with just a couple of taps. For notes and articles I’ve mostly been using Ulysses of late.
