I’m starting to think I shoud’ve taken all of this week off, instead of just Friday. I’m just not feeling in the mood for work and the like today.

I'm in the process of setting up a separate blog (hosted at https://micro.blog) to use for some hobby-related posts and projects, as it's something that's been on my mind for a few weeks. I'm just waiting on the DNS to propagate. Other than that, the whole thing has only taken a few minutes to get up and running. Well done @Manton!

💬 Replied to: Community Painting Competition Winner – January - Warhammer Community

Warhammer Community

But what about those of us who don’t use Facebook or Instagram? Are we completely out of luck? I’ve mentioned this before, but the Community Team really need to stop relying on external social media sites *when you can use your own website to do much of the same thing*!

I’m copying some virtual servers around our ESXi hosts, using ovftool, and ran into a problem with one of them throwing Error: Fault cause: vim.fault.FileNotFound.

This support thread gave me a clue to the eventual solution. Adding the --noImageFiles didn’t fix the problem for me, but going into the VM properties and disconnecting the virtual disc drive from the .iso file it was attached to did get rid of the error and let me kick-off the transfer.

I recently stumbled across Charcoal on iOS when looking for a simple sketch/drawing app for quickly visualising something. Sometimes you don't need all the bells and whistles of something like Procreate, and Charcoal fits the bill perfectly for what I needed at the time. In my limited testing on my iPad (with and without a Pencil) it's been fast, responsive, accurate, and intuitive.

One (odd) thing I was very impressed by is the size of the app bundle – it's tiny, at less than 700KB!
